Sebastian Vettel in a Formula 1 car on the Nordschleife, endurance races in a double pack and the anniversary edition of the 1000 kilometre race: At the Nürburgring, fans can look forward to a hot autumn. Two weekends in particular will attract fans to the Eifel in September: the ADAC 1000-kilometre race (16 September) and the 12h Nürburgring together with Red Bull Formula Nürburgring (9 & 10 September).

A brief portrait of the highlights:

Red Bull Formula Nürburgring & 12h Nürburgring | 9 & 10 September
Formula 1 cars on the legendary Nordschleife: On Saturday, 9 September, a dream of many motorsport fans will come true. On this day, Sebastian Vettel will drive his 2011 World Championship car through the Green Hell. In addition to the four-time world champion, Daniel Ricciardo, team-mate Yuki Tsunoda, Ralf Schumacher and Mathias Lauda will also be driving on the Nordschleife. The latter will take a seat in the car of his father Niki Lauda during the spectacular show run. In addition to the emotional highlights, a thrilling programme awaits at the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring in the Müllenbachschleife. A powerful mix of cars from Nascar, DTM and other series is expected to heat up the fans. The Red Bull Drift Brothers will also be there to impress the audience with their skills. The appearance of trial freestyle ace Adrian Guggemos or Aras Gibieža - one of the best stunt riders in the world - is also eagerly awaited. Freestyle motocross pro Luc Ackermann will also be represented. At just 19, he jumped his first double backflip and was the youngest rider to achieve this feat. He will also demonstrate one or two spectacular jumps at the Nürburgring, seemingly pushing the limits of physics. The visitors in the wide round of the Müllenbachschleife get to see everything up close.

They will also see the start of the 12h Nürburgring, which will take to the entire Nürburgring circuit for the first time on Saturday. From 3:30 p.m., it's all over the entire Grand Prix circuit including the Müllenbachschleife and AMG Arena and, of course, the legendary Nordschleife. For six hours, it's all about the best placings - until the chequered flag is waved in the darkness at 9:30 pm. As usual, the BMW M Power Grandstand (T3), the Bilstein Grandstand (T4) and the AMG Grandstand (T4a) promise an excellent view of the action and the pit lane. On Sunday, 10 September, the second part of the 12h Nürburgring awaits. This time, the lights go green at exactly 12 noon on the slightly shorter combination of Nordschleife and sprint track. The finish is at 6 pm. Around the weekend, there is also a lot to experience off the race track. The supporting programme ranges from the open paddock to autograph sessions and offers in the ring°boulevard.
